Route

From her first apartment to the studios where she became the Queen of Pop, this itinerary follows Madonna's footsteps in New York. It passes by the East Village apartment where she arrived almost penniless, through the nightclubs where she danced, worked coat check and was discovered, through the underground scene of the Music Building, and ends in the compact cluster of Midtown studios where "Like a Virgin" and the sound of the 80s were born.
