The Story

The restaurant and club at Park Avenue South that was the epicenter of New York's art and music underground from 1965 to 1981. Andy Warhol held court at the back table. The Velvet Underground were the house band. David Bowie, Iggy Pop and Bruce Springsteen all played here. Debbie Harry from Blondie waitressed at the legendary downtown New York venue Max's Kansas City
