The Story

Photographer Jimmy King took the last known photos of David Bowie in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, on November 7, 2015, two months before his death. Bowie appears smiling, relaxed, completely incognito. When Bowie died on January 10, 2016, the photos were widely published as his last public record.
