This iconic store opened in 1971 as Let It Rock, rented by a young designer couple named Vivienne Westwood and Malcolm McLaren. After many names and renovations over time, it became Too Fast to Live, Too Young to Die in 1972 and then turned into SEX. It was here, surrounded by customers and staff, including bassist Glen Matlock, that Malcolm McLaren formed the Sex Pistols in 1975. After a period under the name Seditionaries, the store adopted its current identity around 1979/1980. On the facade, a 13-hour clock that rotates counter-clockwise at the entrance. It continues to operate under the Vivienne Westwood brand, with virtually no visual changes since then.
