The Story
Opened in 1973 by Lou Adler and Elmer Valentine, with David Geffen among the partners, the Roxy hosted Neil Young at its inaugural show. Frank Zappa recorded *Roxy & Elsewhere* here. Bruce Springsteen and Bob Marley played in the early years. In 2023, the Roxy celebrated its 50th anniversary with a series of Neil Young shows.
