The Story

The Troubadour is one of Los Angeles' most historic clubs and one of the city's most influential music venues. It was here that Elton John made his US debut in August 1970, launching his meteoric rise. The club was also the meeting place that gave birth to the Eagles and helped discover artists like Tom Waits. It also hosted memorable shows by Joni Mitchell, James Taylor, Carole King, Jackson Browne, and Bruce Springsteen.
