The Story

The Troubadour is one of Los Angeles' most historic clubs and one of the city's most influential music venues. It was here that Elton John made his US debut in August 1970, kickstarting his meteoric rise. The club was also an important meeting point for the music scene that gave birth to the Eagles and helped discover artists like Tom Waits. It has also hosted memorable performances by Joni Mitchell, James Taylor, Carole King, Jackson Browne, and Bruce Springsteen.
