Eagles Desperado Ranch

The Story

The front and back covers of the Eagles' album Desperado were shot at Paramount Ranch, a Western movie set in Agoura Hills used in dozens of films and TV series since the 1920s. The ranch was bought by the National Park Service in 1980, but a fire in 2018 destroyed many of its structures. The famous Western Town, pictured above, was lost during the 2018 Woolsey Fire. These were historic buildings from the Paramount Era.
