The Story

Record Plant Los Angeles was one of the most influential recording studios in music history, helping to transform Los Angeles into one of the world's music production capitals. Opened in 1969, it became known for its creative and innovative environment, attracting artists such as Eagles, Black Sabbath, Fleetwood Mac, Billy Joel, Tom Waits, and Guns N' Roses. It finally closed in July 2024, after 55 years.
