Paramount Recording Studios

The Story

This studio was built in the late 1960s by the Brolin family. In the 1970s, it hosted legends such as Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, and Bob Dylan, as well as Motown icons including Diana Ross and Marvin Gaye, and the Jackson 5, who recorded the classic "ABC" here. In the 1990s, the studio became one of the centers of West Coast hip-hop, hosting names like Tupac Shakur. Decades later, it continues to operate fully, maintaining its tradition and hosting big names in music, such as Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Foo Fighters, and John Mayer.
