The Story

On March 27, 1987, U2 climbed onto the rooftop of a building at the corner of 7th and Main Street, in downtown LA's infamous Skid Row, to film the music video for Where The Streets Have No Name. Thousands of people stopped on the sidewalk, traffic became chaotic, and the LAPD shut everything down after 20 minutes. Another famous rooftop show in rock history.
