The Story

The Georgian building at 152 King's Road, Chelsea, built in the 18th century and previously used as a livestock breeding premises, gained its ornate facade in 1881, before becoming one of London's most legendary cultural addresses. Eric Clapton lived here in the late 1960s. Princess Seraphine Astafieva, from Russia, ran a dance academy here. It currently houses a restaurant and a basement music venue, which is still in operation.
