The Story
The ornate Victorian building at 152 King's Road, Chelsea, built in 1881 and used as an animal breeding establishment before becoming one of London’s most legendary cultural addresses. Eric Clapton lived here in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Princess Seraphine of Russia ran a dance academy here. It currently houses a restaurant and a live music venue in the basement, still in operation.
