The most famous outdoor amphitheater in the United States, opened in 1922. The Beatles played here in 1964 and 1965 to hysterical audiences. Led Zeppelin played in 1969. Jimi Hendrix in 1967. With a capacity for 17,500 people and the iconic egg-shell acoustic design, it is one of the most cinematic stages in the world. Billie Eilish's 2021 Disney+ concert film and a 2022 tribute were done here.
