The Beehive Studio

The Story

An old room on Fleet Road in Hampstead was converted into a recording studio in January 2010 by Coldplay due to the lack of space they had at The Bakery, which was a few meters away on the same street (at 4 Fleet Rd). The Beehive was large enough to record the entire band at once. Mylo Xyloto, Ghost Stories, A Head Full of Dreams, Everyday Life, and Music of the Spheres were all made here. The place is completely "anonymous" from the outside, with no plaque or signage. Still active.
