The Story

This is the official Rolling Stones store, which opened on September 9, 2020, at 9 Carnaby Street. This street was the heart of fashion in the 60s, and where Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, and Brian Jones walked before they were famous. "We rehearsed near here, we ate near here, we walked around here before Carnaby Street was famous," Jagger said at the opening. Two floors painted in black and red with Pantone's Stones Red, the band's official color. Glass floor engraved with song lyrics, fitting rooms with art from Exile on Main St. and Some Girls, a red metal sculpture based on the intro of Paint It Black at the entrance, and a permanent exhibition of Ronnie Wood's paintings in the basement.
