The Story

The cover of Too Tough to Die was photographed in a Central Park tunnel, near where Center Drive crosses the carousel's height, in 1984. The four Ramones posed in silhouette under the Playmates Arch. The album marked a return to raw punk after some pop experimentations. It was released on October 1, 1984, and is the first Ramones record to feature Richie Ramone on drums, with production by former member Tommy Ramone.
