Ramones Halfway to Sanity

Ramones

1987

The Story

It was here, at the entrance of the Hop Lee restaurant, that photographer George DuBose captured the Ramones for the cover of *Halfway to Sanity* in 1987. The session lasted only 15 minutes. It was the band's tenth studio album and the last with Richie Ramone on drums before he left the group. As soon as the band left, the photographer still took some photos of the roasted ducks hanging in Hop Lee's display window, and the image ended up in the album's liner notes.
