The Story

In October 1961, a customer entered Brian Epstein's record store and asked for a copy of 'My Bonnie' by The Beatles, a band Epstein had never heard of. He visited the Cavern Club a few weeks later to investigate and became their manager. The store no longer exists and is now a shopping mall. The photo above illustrates a replica of how the NEMS store looked in the 60s, located at The Beatles Story museum, which you can also see here in the App.
