The Story

The famous photos of Arnaldo Baptista, Rita Lee, and Sérgio Dias were taken by Jean Solari, a photographer for Realidade magazine, on the rooftop of the Copan Building, Oscar Niemeyer's wavy building in the heart of downtown São Paulo. One of the photos became the cover of *Everything Is Possible*, the 1999 compilation that introduced Os Mutantes to the world outside Brazil decades later. The Copan remains an icon of São Paulo.
