The Story
English Heritage Blue Plaque marking the Maida Vale flat where Marc Bolan lived with his wife June from late 1970 as his career soared with Ride a White Swan, Hot Love and Get It On. Several of T. Rex's biggest hits were written and recorded while he lived here. He left in 1972 when the attention of fans became oppressive. Plaque unveiled in 2024.
