The Story

Singer, Songwriter, Guitarist. Frontman of T. Rex and one of the defining figures of glam rock, known for Get It On, 20th Century Boy and Ride a White Swan. He died in a car accident in Barnes in 1977, two weeks before his 30th birthday. His ashes are buried under a rose bush, and his memorial plaque in the West Memorial Court sits side by side with Keith Moon's.
