The Story

Jim Morrison lived at this address in West Hollywood for much of the Doors' later years. The house was known for the chaotic life he led with his girlfriend Pamela Courson. In 1971, he went to Paris with her, saying he needed a break from music and Los Angeles. He died in their Paris apartment on July 3, 1971, at the age of 27.
