Eric's Liverpool

The Story

Opened in 1976 by Roger Eagle and Ken Testi on the same street as the Cavern Club, Eric's was the engine of Liverpool's post-punk scene. Echo & the Bunnymen, Julian Cope's Teardrop Explodes, Pete Burns' Dead or Alive, Frankie Goes to Hollywood and OMD all emerged from this stage.
