The Story

This house opened in 1982 as Empório Secos e Molhados, with a pub concept, cold draft beer, and a jukebox playing everything. In the 90s, it became just Empório, affectionately nicknamed EmPorre by regulars, opening its stage to garage bands and rock DJs. It was there, on June 20, 1997, that Los Hermanos played one of their first shows, with a five-reais ticket that also counted as a consumption voucher. Autoramas debuted on the same stage months later, in March 1998, with Los Hermanos opening the night. Since 2015, under the command of the third generation of the family, it has been called Empório 37, with a rock program that extends through the Rio de Janeiro night. Still active.
