The cover of *Letter To You* was photographed on Terrace Drive, at the entrance to Central Park next to The Dakota, in black and white. Springsteen walks alone in the empty park intersection in winter. A simple image for a record with the E Street Band for the first time in six years. It is a record of goodbyes and very confessional from The Boss and the cover reflects that mood.
