The Story

The cover of "Letter To You" was photographed by Danny Clinch in the winter of 2018, almost two years before the album was recorded, during an unpretentious walk through Central Park, near The Dakota. Springsteen walks alone at an empty park intersection, in black and white. The photo would only later be chosen to grace an album with the E Street Band for the first time in six years. A very confessional album of farewells from The Boss, and the cover perfectly reflects this mood.
