The Story
The Midtown studio where John Lennon recorded Imagine, Bruce Springsteen recorded Born to Run and Aerosmith recorded Toys in the Attic. Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan, Miles Davis and Patti Smith all recorded here. The original studio closed in 1988 but its legacy defined a generation of American rock.
