Jimi Hendrix
Built by Jimi Hendrix in 1970 at a cost of one million dollars in Greenwich Village. Hendrix died before seeing the studio open to other artists. Since then, David Bowie, Led Zeppelin, The Clash, D'Angelo, Beyoncé, and Taylor Swift have recorded here. The interior was designed by legendary producer Eddie Kramer.
