The Story
Bill Graham's legendary East Village venue that operated from 1968 to 1971. Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane and The Allman Brothers all played here. The Allman Brothers' Live at Fillmore East (1971) is considered one of the greatest live albums ever recorded.
