Bar Museu Clube da Esquina

The Story

A bar and cultural space on Rua Paraisópolis in Santa Tereza, just a few steps from the corner of Divinópolis and Paraisópolis streets, where the "boys" of the movement used to gather to compose in the 1960s. Opened in December 2015, in the former Bar Godofredo, it features rare photos, posters, and objects from the movement's collection on the walls, including personal items. The dishes and drinks are named after songs. The bar has a live music program with MPB, jazz, and Clube da Esquina classics. The bar is also a stop on a guided tour of the movement's iconic spots in Belo Horizonte.
