Dead Fish, Pitty, Autoramas, Marky Ramone, Leela
1995
This venue opened in 1995, on Rua Humaitá, and for a decade it was one of the main alternative concert spots in Rio, even hosting the 1995 Prêmio TVZ, a precursor to the Multishow de Música Brasileira awards. The venue hosted shows by Dead Fish, Pitty, Autoramas, and even Marky Ramone and The Intruders, as well as Leela, who participated in the Humaitá Não Tá Pra Peixe festival. Marisa Monte and Marcelo D2 were regular attendees of the nights there, according to a hot dog vendor who set up his stand in front of the venue. The venue closed in 2005, with an estimated debt of 1.5 million reais involving employees, rent, and taxes. The land where it operated is now home to a Zona Sul supermarket.
