The Story

The cover for AC/DC's Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap was photographed by Aubrey Powell and Storm Thorgerson of Hipgnosis in front of the former Imperial 400 Motel at this address on Sunset Blvd. The low-budget motel was the perfect backdrop for the band's classic record. The building still exists and operates today as the Hotel H-Wood.
