The Story

Located at Rua Humaitá, 380, in the Humaitá neighborhood of Rio de Janeiro, this venue marked the beginning of one of the biggest names in Brazilian rock. Between November and December 1982, the Western Club hosted the first official shows of the classic lineup of Paralamas do Sucesso, bringing together Herbert Vianna, Bi Ribeiro, and João Barone. The venue, which later closed as an event club, became the home of the traditional Casa do Mago store.
