Village Revival Records

The Story

This store was opened in 1994 by Jamal Alnasr. In 2017, it closed its doors due to rising rent and Alnasr even sold his own house to reopen the business next to the original address, under the new name Village Revival Records. Since December 2025, it has been the permanent set for Revival of the Fittest, a series of short videos by filmmaker Nicolas Heller that became a hit on Instagram, showing Alnasr and the store's customers in casual conversations about music and everyday life. The store has also welcomed loyal customers such as Bella Hadid and Lana Del Rey. Still active.
