The Story

Opened in May 1990 at the Royal Albert Dock, The Beatles Story is the world's largest permanent museum dedicated exclusively to The Beatles. The journey begins in their early years in Liverpool and Hamburg and ends with their solo careers, featuring replicas of the Casbah Coffee Club, the Cavern Club, and Abbey Road Studios. The collection includes John Lennon's glasses, George Harrison's first guitar, Lennon's last piano, and a real yellow submarine. The audio guide, available in twelve languages, is narrated by Julia Baird, John Lennon's sister.
