Between 1984 and 1986, the Rolla Pedra Theater revolutionized the cultural life of Taguatinga, opening its doors to plastic arts, performing arts, and music. It was a fundamental space for expanding Brasília's rock scene beyond the Plano Piloto, bringing Capital Inicial, Legião Urbana, and Plebe Rude to the satellite city audiences. At a time when the Brasília rock scene was at its peak, Rolla Pedra was the stage that connected the cultural movement from the city center to the outskirts of the Federal District. It is an official stop on the Brasília Capital of Rock Route.
