Teatro Rolla Pedra

The Story

Between 1984 and 1986, the Rolla Pedra Theater revolutionized Taguatinga's cultural life, opening its doors to plastic, scenic, and musical arts. It was a fundamental space for expanding Brasília's rock scene beyond the Plano Piloto, bringing Capital Inicial, Legião Urbana, and Plebe Rude to the audience in the satellite cities. The theater was inaugurated with shows by these three bands. At a time when the Brasília rock scene was at its peak, Rolla Pedra was the stage that connected the cultural movement of the city center with the periphery of the Federal District.
