The Story

The Brasília Rádio Center building, in Asa Norte, is a crucial spot on Brasília's Rock Route. In the legendary room 2090, over 30 groups rehearsed, and it was there that Legião Urbana was born. The newly formed Legião shared rent and space with Plebe Rude and another band, with Renato Russo responsible for keeping payments up to date. Cássia Eller, still early in her career, also rehearsed in the building with her band Malas e Bagagens. The romance ended when professionals, attracted by the low rent, forced the musicians out of the rooms.
