Legião Urbana, Plebe Rude, Mel da Terra, Aborto Elétrico
1970s
Gama's Casa do Rock (House of Rock) hosted local and national band shows since the mid-70s, with an eclectic program of concerts and theater. As early as the 80s, it mixed punk bands like Plebe Rude with MPB artists like Mel da Terra. Aborto Elétrico and Blitx 64 also played there. Considered the most international spot among the satellite cities, it has hosted bands from Finland, Sweden, England, Holland, and the Czech Republic. Along with Cine Itapoã and Bezerrão Stadium, it represents the expansion of Brasília rock beyond the Plano Piloto, bringing the scene to the satellite cities. It is an official stop on the Brasília Capital do Rock Route.
