The Story

This store opened in 2019, founded by Barry Perlman, co-founder of the denim brand Lucky Brand. Unlike most record stores, it displays records as works of art on shelves and also sells turntables, amplifiers, and speakers for the audiophile public. Beyoncé has taken over the space twice for the launches of Renaissance and Cowboy Carter, appearing in person to sign fans' records. It remains active, considered one of Hollywood's most elegant and modern stores.
