The Story
This store opened in 1987, founded by Kevin Donan, a former Capitol Records vinyl pressing plant employee. It is located in an inner courtyard on Hollywood Boulevard and has become a resource for film directors and costume designers, supplying vinyl for over 1,200 films and 700 TV shows, including Star Wars and Straight Outta Compton. It remains active, almost four decades later.
