Sarcófago

The cover of Sarcófago's debut album, INRI, was photographed on one of the Gothic marble tombs here in 1987. The identity of the person entombed was never confirmed, but metal fans from all over the world come to photograph themselves in front of it. One of the most visited spots in the Brazilian metal underground and one of the most mysterious album covers in Brazilian metal history.
