The Story

The terraced house in the working-class Dingle neighborhood where Ringo Starr was born on July 7, 1940. In 2010, the Liverpool City Council proposed demolishing the property. Ringo publicly opposed the plan, but the house was eventually sold and vacated. Very close by, at 10 Admiral Grove, was also the house where Ringo lived for about 20 years.
