Ray Charles Robinson was one of the greatest musicians of all time, mixing gospel, R&B, soul, jazz, and country with an unmistakable voice. He is buried in Inglewood Park Cemetery. He lived in Los Angeles for decades and recorded his most important albums in the city. He died in June 2004.
