Johnny Ramone, co-founding guitarist of the Ramones, is buried at Hollywood Forever with a life-size bronze statue of him playing guitar. He died of prostate cancer in August 2004, aged 55. The cemetery is a few blocks from Paramount Studios and hosts outdoor movie screenings during the summer.
