The Story

Jimmy Sullivan, also known as The Rev, was born on February 9, 1981. He was the drummer, vocalist, pianist, and founding songwriter of Avenged Sevenfold, one of the most important bands in modern metal. He contributed memorable vocals to tracks such as A Little Piece of Heaven, Afterlife, and Critical Acclaim. He passed away at his home in Huntington Beach on December 28, 2009, at the age of 28. The band's subsequent album, Nightmare, was entirely dedicated to his memory. His original drum kit is on permanent display at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas. Fans from all over the world regularly visit this grave, leaving drumsticks and messages.
