Two neighboring buildings in Higienópolis were the birthplace of Viper. Felipe Machado lived at 4B and the brothers Pit and Yves Passarell at 8A, at 371 Rua Dr. Veiga Filho. In the building next door, at 351, Andre Matos lived in apartment 151. The band formed here as building neighbors. On January 3, 1985, at the birthday party of guitarist Marcos Kleine of Ultraje a Rigor, on Rua Brasílio Machado, Felipe, Pit, and Yves invited Andre Matos to join the band. Maestro Andre was 14 years old. In March of that same year, the most famous photo of the original lineup was taken here.
