The Story
The St John's Wood townhouse purchased by Paul McCartney in April 1965 for £40,000, a short walk from Abbey Road Studios. Penny Lane, Getting Better and Hey Jude were written here. Andy Warhol, Mick Jagger and the full Beatles were frequent visitors. Still McCartney's London home today.
