The Story

Acabou Chorare is frequently named one of the greatest Brazilian albums of all time. The album cover was probably photographed at Cantinho do Vovô, the country property on Estrada de Jacarepaguá where the Novos Baianos lived together, making music, playing soccer, and inventing a new lifestyle. Today the place has changed its name to Sítio Sominho and can be rented for parties.
