The Story

Founded in 2000 by Paul Allen with the world's largest Hendrix collection. Guitars, clothing, diary entries, handwritten lyrics, and fragments of the Stratocaster he burned in London. Allen had previously loaned Hendrix's father over $4 million to recover the rights to Jimi's music. The grunge wing holds Kurt Cobain's guitars and the Dave Grohl-handwritten setlist from Nirvana's 1993 São Paulo show.
