The Story

Founded in 2000 by Paul Allen with the largest Jimi Hendrix collection in the world. Guitars, clothes, diaries, handwritten lyrics, and fragments of the Stratocaster he burned in London. Allen had previously lent Hendrix's father over $5 million to recover the rights to Jimi's music. The grunge wing holds Kurt Cobain's guitars and Dave Grohl's handwritten setlist from Nirvana's 1993 São Paulo show.
