The Story

This store opened in 1987 in Chorlton, the bohemian neighborhood south of Manchester city center. It has been managed by its owner, Les, since its foundation. The store is known for its curated selection of reggae, funk, and Northern Soul records, and prices that attract collectors and DJs in search of rarities. Over the years, the store has hosted autograph sessions with Johnny Marr from The Smiths. It remains active, almost four decades after its inauguration.
