Arnaldo Brandão, Hanoi Hanoi, Leela, Marisa Monte, Los Hermanos
1975
This house in Botafogo became a studio in 1975 and is run by Arnaldo Brandão, former bassist for Raul Seixas and Gal Costa, and founder of Hanoi Hanoi, the band behind the hit Totalmente Demais. Over five decades, the space has hosted Marisa Monte, Cidade Negra, Barão Vermelho, O Rappa, Planet Hemp, Los Hermanos, Zé Ramalho, Ed Motta, and Pitty, in addition to Hanoi Hanoi itself. It also functions as a venue for underground events, with a dedicated audience space and excellent acoustics. It is the rehearsal location for the band Leela.
