Cazuza
· 1990
Vocalist of Barão Vermelho before his solo career, Cazuza became one of the most important voices and poets in Brazilian rock. He created anthems such as Codinome Beija-Flor and Brasil. He died of complications related to the HIV virus in 1990, at the age of 32. He was one of the first Brazilian public figures to speak openly about his diagnosis at a time of enormous taboo.
